LSG Landscape Architecture was selected to assist Erickson Living to transform approximately 38,500 square feet of existing open lawn into a Central Park for the residents at Seabrook Village.
LSG conducted two design workshops with Seabrook management and residents’ groups. First one workshop was used to establish community needs and key issues. The second workshop presented design options to gain resident’s preferences and comments that helped shape the final design direction.
LSG Key features of the final plan included an open activity lawn, a venue for outdoor staged events, shaded gathering point, two Gazebos, fire pit, water feature, as well as signage highlighting the space to community visitors. Accessibility was one of the most important aspects of the design. Special attention was provided to avoid walkways with more than 5% slope and steps.
Based on the approved master plan, LSG provided a complete set of construction documents, bidding assistance and construction phase services for the project.
