LSG provided design services and illustrative graphics for all phases of this development, and full landscape architectural services for The Parker, a two building mid-rise residential project. The Parker comprises phase 1 of the larger development with future phases adding a hotel and office building and more multi-family residential. The site is directly adjacent to the Huntington Avenue Metro Station.
The firm designed the Huntington Avenue (frontage) streetscape, two courtyards and a large (1 acre) temporary park. Each courtyard was designed to include a unique experience and different amenities for the residents. One offers passive recreation, grilling and spaces for small gatherings and intimate seating niches and the other includes a pool, large outdoor fireplace and another grilling station. A wide variety of hardscape materials and plantings were used to create different sub-spaces within each courtyard and a variety of experiences.
