Island City Centre is a multi-phased mixed-use project complete with five residential towers, office, hotel, retail, hospital and an international school. The 22 acre site, located in the heart of Mumbai, is positioned along the G. D. Ambedkar Marg near Wadala Station.
LSG’s first task was to provide a master plan that fully integrates the various phases into a common theme. The theme has linked the parcels, creating a dynamic entrance and arrival sequence, establishing focal points for the site, and defining community gathering areas. The proposed site development strategy helps establish the brand for this project.
Phase 1 consists of two residential towers on 7.6 acres. LSG provided an extensive landscape program including tennis, pool, putting greens, playground, party lawn, badminton courts, water features and a variety of gathering spaces. Extensive program analysis included cost estimating, user group analysis and sustainability assessment.
