LSG participated in the successful entitlement process and served as project landscape architect, creating an integrated landscape design theme throughout this award-winning project, Delaware’s first private luxury residential golf resort community.
In addition to initial key site amenities, LSG planned and designed an extensive outdoor recreation area, a nature center, an interpretive center, a multi-use path system including a nature trail and boardwalk component, golf course and clubhouse plantings and miscellaneous pocket parks located throughout the community.
We also incorporated numerous design solutions to address environmental challenges throughout the project, such as landscaped stormwater retention ponds, preservation of sensitive wetland areas and beach restoration at the waterfront area.
Other responsibilities included comprehensive landscape plans and the preparation of landscape design guidelines for new homes in the community.
